Aqui Fue Troya: History and Archaeology Website for the Lay Public

Aqui Fue Troya was a website of Historical and Archaeological news for lay audiences, in tune with the philosophy of digital humanities for public.

Christian co-founded it with Alberto Pérez (University of Seville) and Dr. Fernando Díaz (University of Salamanca). AFT aimed to make accurate historical and archaeological information available to the public, and to reduce the gap in between academics and the public.

This website was our first approach to the digital humanities. The media had a long run despite it being supported exclusively on donations and with us working pro bono.

Christian responsibilities ranged from writing post, to moderate comments, to recruit writers, to editing.
